Wizz Air to Launch Direct Flights to Venice

Starting from 3 December 2025, Wizz Air will launch regular direct flights between Tallinn and Venice, offering travellers a convenient way to visit one of Italy’s most iconic destinations. The flights will operate twice a week, making them suitable for both short city breaks and longer holidays.

“We have been working for a long time to strengthen our connections with Italy and to develop our route network to important destinations for Estonian travellers. Wizz Air’s decision to launch flights to Venice is welcome news, as Italy is a destination that many people here have greatly missed. The opening of this new route also shows that the airline sees growth potential in Tallinn Airport and wishes to expand its presence in our market,” said Eero Pärgmäe, Member of the Management Board at Tallinn Airport, referring to Wizz Air’s recent announcement to start flights to Kraków.

Venice is famous for its unique architecture, historic canals, and rich cultural heritage. Visitors can explore the world-renowned St. Mark’s Square, enjoy gondola rides through the narrow waterways of the old town, and experience traditional Italian cuisine. Several other Northern Italian destinations are also easily accessible from Venice.

In addition to the new Venice route, Wizz Air also operates flights from Tallinn to London and, starting at the end of October, to Kraków.
