  • Both the Ühiskaart (Tallinn’s public transport card) and single tickets can be used on city buses.
  • For a single trip, purchase a QR ticket (2€) online or from the ticket machine in the waiting area by the airport’s tram and bus stop.
  • QR tickets are valid for one hour.
  • Tickets for single trips can also be purchased by tapping a contactless bank card against the validator inside the bus and tram.
  • If you would like to purchase an Ühiskaart and load money onto it, you can do so at R-kiosk in the public part of the terminal next to the Arrivals area.
  • Prices and guide to buying a ticket is available here

Connection to other towns

Some long-distance buses arriving in Tallinn via Tartu Highway also stop at the airport. However, not all buses do so, even upon request – so make sure you choose one that does stop at the airport and notify the driver when entering the bus that you wish to stop there. Find your coach to Estonian cities and towns here.
Note: all Lux Express buses that enter Tallinn along the Tartu highway also stop at the Airport bus stop – both Tallinn-Tartu and Tallinn-Tartu-Võru routes.

NB! Due to the construction works for the new tram line, the stops for long-distance buses have temporarily changed for both arrivals to and departures from the city. Please follow the signage in the public transport terminal. We apologise for the inconvenience!

Take a bus from Tallinn Coach Station

The Tallinn Coach Station is only 2,4 km from the airport and you can get there by either tram, bus or taxi. From there you can take buses to other Estonian locations as well as international buses.
