In November, 13% more passengers passed through Tallinn Airport compared to last year

A total of 248 300 people passed through Tallinn Airport in October, marking a 13% rise on the same period in 2023. The number of airline tickets sold increased by only 1%. Although flight options decreased compared to the summer season due to the transition to a winter flight schedule, interest in flying remained high.

In November, passengers could choose between 30 regular flights routes (44 routes in total per year), of which the most were to Frankfurt, Riga, Helsinki and Stockholm. In November, 13 airlines operated regular flights from Tallinn. Charter flights were used by only 6% of passengers and they mainly took them to Egypt, Turkey and Portugal.

There were 2,809 flight operations, which was 4% less than last year. On average, there were 94 arrivals and departures per day.

A total of 8,719 passengers were served at regional airports, including 3,873 in Tartu, 3,452 in Kuressaare, 1,053 in Kärdla and 135 in Pärnu. Ruhnu Airport was used by 206 passengers, and there were no passengers in Kihnu. Most of the flights took place at Tartu Airport, a total of 248 flight operations.
