Flying from Tallinn Airport during August 24-26? Please take note.

During that period, many Ironman participants will be returning home, which means an unusually high volume of large baggage—especially race bikes. As a result, longer-than-usual check-in queues are expected on August 24, 25 and 26.

How to travel stress-free?

Use Self Bag Drop
This service is available for airBaltic, Finnair, Lufthansa, Norwegian, SAS, SWISS, and Turkish Airlines.

  • You can register your baggage up to 23 hours before departure.
(For Turkish Airlines, baggage drop-off is available up to 10 hours before departure.)
  • Online check-in and a boarding pass are required.
  • Instructions for using Self Bag Drop are available [here].

Traveling with hand luggage only? You can skip the check-in queues entirely.

Need to check in baggage at the counter? Please arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight.

A little extra time and smart check-in planning will help ensure a smooth start to your journey.
