Tallinn Airport Served Nearly 323,000 Passengers in July
In July, Tallinn Airport served a total of 322,941 passengers, averaging over 10,000 passengers per day. During the first seven months of 2025, the airport has handled 1.94 million passengers, representing only a 0.8% decrease compared to the same period in 2024. At the same time, cargo volumes have shown significant growth – increasing by 20% compared to the previous year.
In July, regular and charter flights from Tallinn Airport operated to 40 destinations. The most popular destinations were Helsinki, Riga, and Frankfurt. The largest airline by market share was airBaltic, serving 34% of passengers, followed by Ryanair with 12% and Lufthansa with 11%. This summer season, a total of 15 airlines operate regular flights from Tallinn.
During the month, Tallinn Airport recorded a total of 3,794 flight operations, averaging 122 take-offs and landings per day.
Regional airports served a total of 7,193 passengers in July. Of these, Tartu Airport handled 2,091 passengers, Kuressaare Airport 3,453, and Kärdla Airport 1,597 passengers.

The summer schedule came into effect with the start of daylight saving, which this year was on 30 March. It will continue through to the end of daylight saving on 26 October, when the airport switches to its winter schedule. Airlines decide on their routes and flight operations independently. They may launch new connections mid-season and make changes to their routes and schedules throughout the season.
