New Direct Flights from Tallinn in the Winter Flight Schedule

From 26 October until the end of March, the winter flight schedule will be in effect in the aviation world, bringing new direct flights from Tallinn to Budapest, Funchal, Kraków, and Venice. On the Vilnius route, daily flights with Wizz Air will be added, and the number of flights to Copenhagen will also increase.

“For the first time, it will be possible to fly directly from Tallinn to Kraków (Wizz Air), known as the cultural gem of Poland, located near the Tatra Mountains, which offer excellent skiing opportunities. It’s a perfect destination to combine a cultural trip with sports. In addition, direct flights will operate to cities near Central European ski resorts, such as Milan, Salzburg, Munich, Geneva, Zurich, and Venice. Of these, Venice is the closest to the 2026 Winter Olympic Games venue the Milan–Cortina d’Ampezzo region,” said Eero Pärgmäe, Member of the Management Board of Tallinn Airport.

Throughout the winter season, it will also be possible for the first time to fly to Madeira (Funchal) on airBaltic’s regular flights. Other sunny destinations served by airBaltic include Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Malaga, Nice, and Barcelona (also served by Ryanair). To Antalya, two airlines — SunExpress and Pegasus Airlines — will operate regular winter flights.
Charter flights will also operate to Antalya, Hurghada, and Sharm El Sheikh.

“Throughout the year, Tallinn Airport offers direct flights to more than 50 destinations, but Estonians actually wish to travel to over a thousand destinations worldwide. That’s why connecting flights remain crucial for Estonia,” explained Pärgmäe. “Half of our passengers travel via major hubs, ensuring daily connections for both business and leisure travelers to a wider range of destinations. Compared to last winter, the number of flights to Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and Istanbul will increase.”

The UK’s third-largest airline and biggest tour operator, Jet2, will start Christmas-season flights to Tallinn from Manchester, Edinburgh, and Birmingham. With a total of 24 flights, over 4,000 foreign visitors are expected to arrive in Tallinn. “These flights are primarily aimed at British travelers and will help Estonian tourism companies earn significant additional income during the low season,” added Pärgmäe.
