By Taxi

Using a taxi to get to the airport is easy and convenient: taxis can drop you off and pick you up right in front of the airport terminal.

As of 26 May 2025, only Forus Taxi, the official taxi partner of the Tallinn Airport Group, is permitted to park and wait for passengers at the designated taxi stand in front of the Tartu Airport passenger terminal. All other taxis may drop off passengers and make short stops in the public car park area.

This change aims to ensure a reliable and well-organised transport experience for all passengers.

Parking

Parking at Tartu Airport is ideal if you are a traveller who values time and convenience and prefers to travel in your own car. Our unattended parking lot has 60 spaces right in front of the terminal building.

From 1 March 2025, parking at Tartu Airport will be chargeable: 1 hour of parking costs €3, and 24 hours costs €7.

There are several ways to pay for parking:

  • Use any of the following apps: Pargi.ee, Parkner, or Mobilly
  • If you have a mobile service from Estonian mobile operator then you can use the mobile payment method by sending the car’s registration number and zone code TAY1 to the number 1902 (e.g., 123ABC TAY1). To end parking, call 1903.
  • On the website Parkimine.ee, where you can pay for parking without downloading mobile apps.
